International Advisory Board
The SAIFCA International Advisory Board is a multidisciplinary group of leaders spanning AI governance, child protection, education, and public policy.
These experts provide the strategic foresight and rigorous guidance needed to navigate the complex space where emerging technology meets children’s safety.
By connecting technological innovation with child welfare, the Board ensures that SAIFCA’s initiatives remain globally relevant, ethically grounded, and genuinely impactful.

Nkiru Asika
Nkiru is Salesforce Marketing Cloud Lead at the UK’s largest children’s charity. She is a working group member and contributing author to IEEE Standards on Child Safety, holds a leadership role with Women in AI Governance, and is a member of Black AI Futures UK, the All-Party Parliamentary Group on AI, and ForHumanity.

Clara Hawking
Clara is an internationally recognised AI governance specialist and the Executive Director of a global consulting firm that guides schools and enterprises in the responsible use of AI. She brings extensive experience from senior leadership roles across AI and governance.

Michael Hobbs
Michael is Chair of the SAIFCA Advisory Board and a technology entrepreneur with broad industry experience, including developing a platform to reduce online scams. Before becoming Chair, Michael volunteered extensively for SAIFCA.

Tim Marple
Tim is a Strategic Intelligence Leader and Geopolitical Risk Expert. He previously developed OpenAI’s frontier risk assessment programme and created Google’s first quantitative risk measurement system. He now focuses on maximising the benefits of emerging technologies such as LLMs while reducing risks to the world’s most vulnerable people.

Claire Roberts
Claire is a founding member of UKAI’s Women in AI Working Group, where she champions issues affecting women and works to ensure that AI is designed to represent, support and benefit everyone. She is also co-founder of an ethical AI strategy and training enterprise, and has extensive experience in the IT industry.

Marcus Williamson
Marcus is the founder of an organisation dedicated to improving software and systems that support the care of children with complex needs. With a background in data science and a previous career in finance, he is now focused on transforming how care is delivered to vulnerable children and adults.

James Wilson
James is an AI Ethicist and Lead GenAI Architect, and the author of Artificial Negligence. Prior to joining the Advisory Board, he volunteered extensively for SAIFCA, using his industry and media networks to help amplify SAIFCA’s mission to protect children.
