Griefbots are a form of AI companion designed to simulate the presence of someone who has died. While the idea could sometimes feel comforting, the risks to children are significant and urgent.

It’s vital that we take steps to reduce these risks - including preventing children from accessing griefbots in their current form, and pushing for far stronger regulation and enforcement.
